sufficient and necessary

NECESSARY AND SUFFICIENT

Sitting down to blog because I have an hour or two to kill, and nothing better to do than speculate on things to come.  Have had a new infusion of inspiration and energy, based on new blood and a new face, from time to time, in front of me.  Circumstances change, and do wonder if it is just cause and effect, and the ripple theory coming to life inside of me.  Destiny.  Goal.  Saw that in print recently, and had echo transference around me.  Manifest Destiny and a good way to explain coming to the new world, and taking over.

Now have Indigenous People Issues.  First come and first served.  Migration and a new election coming up at the end of the year.  People maneuvering for what is out there.  Is it opportunity or just the energy put in play from yesterday, and nobody wants to think the results of their day is but futility.   So we have a master plan.  Scripted existence and as time goes by, we go from one stage of growth to another.  In time, we will be like returned to the source, or at least is part of the mind-games I play.   “What next?”  I ask.

As always, I can’t make up my mind.  Am resistant to pesticides and want to avoid plague and cancer.  Want to have my direction, headed into the wind, without being toppled.  Alternative this and that, and my Alternative Title for this blog, was Show Of Strength.  Stand tall.  Give it your all.  And when you find yourself on the edge, make it look like its personal and civil improvement, concerning the position you now find yourself stationed.

Station In Life and Show of Strength seem to get me in a mental state, where boundary and being in the border regions remind me that I have a ways to go, before my journey is finished.   2015.  Election Year.   Posturing and hoping to put your name out there. Positive spin is the goal.  But the destiny remains to be seen.  What exactly are we looking for?  A chance to start over.  Probable Cause.  The Die is Cast.  Manifest Destiny and we have cars on the road that will soon be driven by a computer or by digital control programs that steer us all, both in a different way and in a familiar line.

Collision control and the power of the space program coming full circle.   In my time, I am still in awe of going to the moon, making a decision and having people live for periods of time in zero gravity.   Zero gravity.    Does that mean it is not serious.  Not life and death, as much as inertia. Gas shortage or sheer abundance, the car culture is changing.   Looks more like a long chain of glassed in people.  American highway and a new configuration to  getting around.  Not sure where I am, but based on everything I have seen, somebody will find me.

Off planet and off-track and  in the mood to explore.  Where is he going with all this?   Is nothing more than being in an election year, influencing his state of mind.  Bouncing around influencing others, hoping to change your mind and get the vote out for his party.  Okay so its not the kind of party you thought it would be, but then again we have seen history repeat itself.  Shock and Awe.  And a flash of brilliance twice removed from the battle front.  Now it is time to rest.  The hard work is done.  For now, work has put food on the table.  Time to kick back.  Watch a little baseball.  Cheer and goodwill, to  be spent on picking a winner and a driverless car, in the near future.  Have a good day.  If that’s your destiny.  Or your goal.

And the answer is:  Doing what is both, Necessary and Sufficient.   Long past the point of reproduction and divisional opponents and spawn.  Planet has enough now.  Growth and see an influx of  India People in my hometown.  Well-educated.  Necessary and Sufficient that we play the migration game.  Educated is the key.  Will add to the mix and some will prosper, before they change the immigration rules, and many will be sent home.  Using up the resource, is like making a movie, and convincing others that this is the way of the future.

And before we know it, we come up with another verse and rhyme.  Stay in the groove.  Have flow and little emotion.  Do what you do.  Make over as often as is necessary.  Be safe.  Every ten years we will need to come up with a school budget.  Import or homegrown.  Need brain power for the new fuels and energy programs that just seem to clone or reproduce or seed themselves.  Have no idea how we got here.  But we are long past the point where we ask, “Is a 3-parent child okay.”

Change and the law reinforces what is in front of us.  Community friendly and that perhaps is not the goal nor the destiny.  Indigenous and now its okay.  Necessary and Sufficient.  Sear&Roebuck.  Amazon.com  Stuff-Mart.  As long as it provides the means to take care of you.  Take Care.  Be strong.  Show of Strength.  Alternative Programs not competing.  Parallel and like the railroad tracks that opened up the country, moving people and freight into sparsely occupied land, we now know.   Move over.   They are coming.

Can’t go on forever.  Unless it is contained in the words:   Love Is.   I get that part.  But then I have to work to eat.  Won’t let the children starve.  Have things I want to do for the sake of the children.  But then that is negated when they send them off to war, and they come back bits and pieces of the bigger picture.  Change and feels like I have cold feet.  Going forward is a drag and there is some resistance.  We seek the refinement of civilized ways, seek to educate, and then plug in the necessary and sufficient elements of the path we are on.

Destiny.  Goal-Oriented momentum.  Nothing I can say that points to certainty and knowing.  Election year.  Power changes hands and a new way of seeing and doing and being, welcomes our children.  Forget about the things we need to question.  Time for opportunity and optimistic expression.  Time to rest.  Just knowing,  A Bigger Storm will find us.  In the Jet Stream.  Currents of Change will find us.  And it is up to us to manage the forces and tame the wild nature of exploration, exploitation and mankind.

In a state of shock.  Seen the worst part of all this.  Now we need a rest.  7 weeks of flu and weakness.  Looking forward to a Show of Strength.  Baseball season and a new group/team players.  Interchangeable and they do flex muscle.  Spring Training gives way to regular season play in April 2015.  Feel good about the situation.  Feel good about yourself.  Disregard the empty set, where it settles with the dust.   Return to the Source.  Where Love is.

That’s where I am headed.  Without a driver.

And then  tomorrow will be another day.  And I expect to find myself and you.  Will bring flowers and say, “Love is.”   It up to you, if you believe me.  From my view point, am not a mind reader.  Just have faith.  Love is the driver in the car without a driver’s seat.  Changes happen.  Fast lane frequency and less problems is how I want to see it.   And yes,  I repeat myself.  “Its up to you, if you believe me.”  Election Year.    He stares at the wall.  Now asking.

“What’s next?”

SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN

SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN

I didn’t expect much when I came alive this morning.  Woke up and thought I would just resume.  Saw that on Netflix, the movie site that I pay money to, to watch movies.  Resume is a button you push, as an option to hitting the pause button, or the Back To Browser button.  Not sure why I am boring you with this.  Not sure why I named today’s blog, SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN.   Would be easy to forget what I wanted to tell you.  Having a Senior Moment in the middle of the day, when a nap calls and you ignore the phone, might seem as if it was part of the plan:  Just Being Human.

Human beings do a lot of weird things.  But not sure this is the time or place to expand on that.  As for me, didn’t have a plan for Monday.  Thought I would just hit The-Resume-Button and mindless follow my Monday Routine.  Thing is, doing so would not find me blogging.  I do that on Tuesday or Thursdays or on weekends.  But lately, I write but one blog a month.  And notice that others are doing something similar.  Thoughts.com has become dysfunctional, and the blogging crowd has moved on.  For the most part I thought this was true.  But after today, I will rethink all of that, and maybe come up with a different tune to chirp about.

Mind-storm and if I considered myself a slow moving boat, going through troubled waters, I would say, “Blown Off Course.  Considering Sinking.”  Has something to do with posting a title to a blog, I had not considered writing.  Seems the events of an unplanned day have enabled me, and now I find myself writing.  Starts with a title.  SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN.   Then comes spontaneous thoughts and composition, and a general feeling that maybe being blown off course is not such a bad thing.

Personally I thought I was sinking into a habitual pattern for a rainy Monday.  Had tried to concentrate over the weekend, but found it almost impossible to do so.  Followed the buttons on my computer screen.  Came into a comfort zone when I landed on the March Madness NCCA Basketball web page.  Thought I would spend the whole day watching basketball, getting cozy in the man cage, and by staying on the computer night and day, become a screen zombie.  Well that didn’t happen.  Seems that after watching one basketball game, going to the kitchen to make nachos, and other various things one does in the man cave, March Madness alert arrive and lets me know, “Your view privileges have expired.”

In some ways I was disturbed by all of this, but as often is the case when you are retired, and have no friends and nothing to do, there is a Plan B.

Plan B for me was tuning into the basketball games on the radio.  Stopped using my computer as a dysfunctional television.  Hit The-Pause-Button.  Entertained myself in a different way, and tried to forget about it, that I had been lured into watching basketball, by way of some clever marketing scheme that had been months in the making.  Sprung a trap and I had hit the resume button, became  part of something that truly turned out to be unimportant.  Rethinking all of this I decided I would follow their example.   Named a Blog:   SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN.  Now into it and did to you what they did to me.  BAIT AND SWITCH.

Only thing is, I had a Plan B.  Didn’t hit the resume button and pay for continuance.  Instead I found an alternative to watching college basketball on TV or on a computer.  Listen to the radio.   Read a book.  Cook Gumbo in the kitchen.  All done at the same time.  Without actually staying on the March Madness NCAA Basketball web site.  Not sure the advertising and Cable Owners saw this as a viable option.  But then as I said in the beginning.  Mind Storm.  Blown Off Course.  And now its Monday.   Sandusky in the Rain blog is now a perfect example of what I learned over the weekend.  Bait and Switch.  Making things worse by talking about it.  Seems that is exactly what I am doing.

Am working on a Monday Alternative.  Thought it would be a boring day.  One we would not share with others.  Instead, something happened and it transported me to a different Monday and a different parallel universe, and more importantly into a Different Train of Thought.  Thought.com.   Is where I am now.  Blogging.  Inspired by an alert signal at the top of my blogging page.  Part of my Monday routine, to look at Thoughts.com and see if there is any activity I should respond to.

Seems last week and now this week, new people have landed on my site and let me know that they have come to visit.  One was  Girl-in-Saudi.  Another was JimmyBird.  Turns out that both new visitors to my site, inspired me to blog on Monday, when it was something I would normally do in the Tuesday or Thursday routine.  Now I want to tell you why I spend this whole blog writing about the mindstorm I am experiencing, instead of going about SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN.

Girl-in-Saudi got my attention by mentioning a blog I had written in the long forgotten past.  Seems the blog was titled:  LOOKING FOR MRS. DRUMMOND.  So it startled me.  That somebody I didn’t know, would come to my site and see what StoneHead was all about, based on a blog once written.  Turns out I needed to find out more.  Clicked on Girl-in-Saudi web site name and decided to read a few of the strangers blogs.  Turns out I found it interesting, but at the same time I just didn’t know or have a clue what things I might have in common with Girl-in-Saudi.

So I left a private message.  Basically said, “Thanks for coming by my blog site.  Not sure we have much in common, but if we do.  Come back.  Hit the resume button.  And maybe,……..”   So that was one experience I recently  had.  Showed me that I may have jumped to an erroneous conclusion about Thought.com  being on its last legs.  Declining bloggers and declining interest, seemed to be prevalent.   Now I am rethinking all of that.  Mind Storm and Blown Off Course.

Now let me tell you about Event number 2.  Seems I was visited recently by JimmyBird.  Turns out JimmyBird visits and communicates with others that visit my site.  Turns out I have never read a JimmyBird post.  So noticed that I had a visitor to my site.  Went to JimmyBird web page on thoughts.com and spent an hour or so reading.  Found it all very interesting.  Found a blog:  FRAWG BOY DAY on JimmyBird site.  Found it interesting.  Then realized it was all part of the process.  Didn’t hit the Do not-Repost-Button.

After reading Frawg Boy Day blog on JimmyBird’s page, I came across a renewed interest in reading other people’s contributions on Thoughts.com.  Didn’t have all day.  So mainly concentrated on Girl-In-Saudi  and JimmyBird.  Now its late on Monday afternoon.  Finishing this blog and would like to keep it short.  But it isn’t short.   To me it seem excessively long.  And annoys me if I was you, that it has nothing to do with SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN.   Bait and Switch.  Repost.  Conversations with total strangers.

And at the end of the day, it leaves me exhausted.  So now I plan to wander off.  Plan to go to Plan B.  Not sure we are on the same frequency.  Some on TV.  Some on Cable.  Some of Streaming Computer.   IN the end I wonder if it matters.

For those who know me, I just want to say.

“  Baseball season starts soon.  Damn Yankees.”

 SANDUSKY IN THE RAIN.

FRAWG BOY DAY

FRAWG BOY DAY

Not sure where I got off the beaten path, went sideways with my own thoughts, and lost a few days and the confusion just grew.  Often when this happens, I have flashbacks.  PTSD and blame it on the alphabet soup that gets served up.  Reminds me of a different time, and have been schooled now to only do the present moment.  NO war stories.  Nothing that has anything to do with you.  Not sure who put that in my mind, but it happened.

Added to the abundance of rule-based thinking that once was the only thing I truly understood.  Read books.  Listened to the wisdom of others, thought it would be in college where the results would be revealed and shown.  As it turns out, going to college is where the rational mind gets tested.  And when that over, is where they turn you out.  And you know what happens in THE TURN OUT.  And if you don’t, just ask.

It is St. Patrick’s Day.  The color is green.  For some reason, I thought this celebration was on March 15th.  Well it wasn’t, and now it is. “ Be in the present moment.”  As I get older it is not like that for me.  I have flashbacks.  I have an empty cup, and tis true, don’t drink much now.  Even to the point, the 8 glasses of water per day, is overwhelming and not over flowing in my cup.

Rather, the flow comes and it is spring.  Spring and St. Patty’s Day.  And Lent.  Ok, so I am not in the present moment.  Stoney is all over the place.  Thought it was on March 15th.  Two days ago, and now I am just not into it.  It is over.  Lost it.  Only green triggers in me  a new story.

Has nothing to do with Irish and that celebration.  So over it.  Present moment crap just doesn’t do it for me  Flashback and when it happens it takes over.  Sweats and tragedy.  Distance myself from it, when I can, but then it just happens.  Mental aberration.  10 clicks down-wind.  Its there.  “Mr. Nasty.”  So green and today it reminds me of something, just not what you might be into, in the present moment.  Green and it costs to celebrate.  It costs when you have flashback and they call it locus or even worse, they say it’s a disease.

And it might be.  Forget the clever arrangement of letters.  PTSD.  Disease and sickness.  Who wants to hear about it, when we are busy with the St. Pat thingy.  So he wanders off.  In his own thoughts.  Remembers Dingo Dawg and Frawg Boy.  That’s how it is.  Today.

Everybody wants a piece of the action.  Wants the green.  Celebrate the green. Drink and Party and be in the present moment.  Have fun.  No need to take in the consequence.  Present Moment.  And that is when I have my way.  Not feeling it.  Thought it would be good two days ago.  But like I said.  “Over it now.  Doing flashbacks and well, probably not something to spring on you in the flow of the Irish Spring you are doing.”

Later somebody will ask.  “What about Frawg Boy Day.”  And I will ask.  “Are you sure you want to know?”

Here the words, dingo dawg.  And those in the know, will remind you.  “Nasty.”  And its like the uptake of a cautionary wind.  You don’t need a story to remind you of a dingo, or to extend the conversation to going for the green and greed.  It happens.  Just have to be there.  Present Moment Experience, you might only want to do but once.  In most places, the experience when told is but a story.

Nothing to relate the words to.  Never seen Frawg Boy.  Never got close to Dingo Dawg or its cousin, Dingo.  Civilized and we just don’t go there.  Haven’t gone there.  Can google Dingo, but can’t relate with the fence, and the shooting and the doomsday slaughter that comes with the celebration, when confronted, experienced and digested.

And so it goes.  Dingo Dawg seeks out Frawg Boy.  Tis the time for a celebration.  Time to party.  And those have seen this before.  Back away.  The echo in the wind remains.  “Just plain nasty. It is.”   Present Moment Stuff.  And PSTD.  Hysterical. Historical.  Pandemonium plus when the Dawg and the Frawg get together.

And if you don’t believe me, join us next year.  Around St. Patrick’s Day.  Its quite a celebration.  Just different.
